Eureka: funding for global R&D cooperation
This plenary session will spotlight EUREKA, the world’s largest public network for international R&D and innovation, with a presence in over 45 countries. It will feature an introduction by the EUREKA Secretariat, followed by a discussion and testimonies from international biotech companies and EUREKA representatives. Moderated by Innosuisse, the session will include audience questions and conclude with an outlook on the Swiss Biotech Day 2026 and the Eureka Global Innovation Summit 2026.

The Market Place is the closing networking event of the Global Village, where international delegations will share drinks and snacks from their home countries—celebrating cultural diversity and global collaboration. Delegates will be invited to share their key achievements at Swiss Biotech Day and offer an outlook on future opportunities. The event will conclude with farewell speeches by Michael Altorfer, CEO, and Patrick Amstutz, President of the Board at the Swiss Biotech Association, including the announcement of this edition’s Country Partnership of the Year.
