Swiss Biotech Day 2024

The Swiss Biotech Day 2024 was a very well-attended gathering at the heart of the European biotechnology scene in Basel. Some 2,500 participants from 45 nations made this a record-breaking event in terms of numbers and visitors.

The congress center turned into a bustling hive of activity, with partnering, networking, start-up pitches and discussions and a fully-booked exhibition.

 There were some 27 amazing and productive panel discussions, over 100 fascinating company and pitching presentations, and innovative input from 109 exhibitors. These included 3 mentoring booths, 17 international delegations with 15 roundtable discussions in the Global Village, and 3,977 inspiring partnering conversations.

Again, it all goes to show that the Swiss Biotech Day is one of the leading biotechnology conferences in Europe and an ideal place for networking. This year we have expanded the opportunity for on-site networking with our first welcome reception, which attracted 525 participants, on the evening before the event.
