Media briefing
An english-language media briefing is held on Monday, May 4, 11:00 -11:45 am, prior to the official conference program, providing an overview of key developments in the Swiss biotech industry and the opportunity for Q&A with industry representatives.
Media eligibility
Media access is reserved for qualified journalists and content creators who regularly report on biotechnology, life sciences, or related fields. Proof of professional activity is required (e.g. press card, publication links, editorial assignment, or comparable evidence). Eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Media invitation and registration
Existing media contacts of the Swiss Biotech Day receive a personal email invitation in the first quarter of 2026 and may register directly through the standard registration process. Approved applicants receive a personal registration code for complimentary access to the full Swiss Biotech Day program. Other media representatives may request an invitation.
Interviews with top executives in the biotech industry
The Swiss Biotech Day facilitates direct access to leading figures in the Swiss biotech industry, including senior executives and contributors to the Swiss Biotech Report. Media representatives receive a regularly updated contact list of potential interview partners to arrange interviews directly with them.
Media services
A dedicated media workspace with WiFi is available throughout the conference. Media representatives receive the official media release and presentation following the media briefing, as well as regularly updated interview opportunities with industry leaders. After confirmation, journalists may arrange interviews directly and reserve the onsite interview room through an online booking system.
