The venue

Switzerland's largest convention center

The Congress Center Basel is ideally located between Basel city center and the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, with convenient access by bus, car, train and tram. The tram stop is Messeplatz.

By air

  • From EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, bus 50 runs to Basel SBB every 15 minutes; from there tram 2 (toward Eglisee) stops at Messeplatz. Transfer time is around 20 minutes.
  • From Zurich Airport, direct trains reach Basel SBB every 30 minutes in about 1 hour 20 minutes. Many airlines sell tickets to the IATA destination ZDH, which is Basel SBB station and includes the train.

By rail and tram

  • From Basel SBB (SBB/SNCF), tram 1 (toward Badischer Bahnhof) or tram 2 (toward Eglisee) goes directly to Messeplatz.
  • From Badischer Bahnhof, take tram 1, 2, 6 or 21. From the city center, take tram 6 (toward Riehen) or tram 14 (toward Dreirosenbrücke).

By car

  • The former Messe parking is closed due to construction work.
  • If you are traveling by car, we recommend using the parking garage at Badischer Bahnhof. From there, you can reach Messe Basel by tram in 5 minutes or by foot in 10 to 15 minutes.   • Hotel guests receive a BaselCard on check-in and travel free on public transportation for the duration of their stay.
